AAGGMV Members Go into Ohio Genealogical Society (OGS) Lineage Societies

Neila Murphy and Art Thomas have been inducted into the First Families of Ohio (FFO), Settlers and Builder Families of Ohio (SBO) and the Society of Civil War Families of Ohio. (SCWFO)
These are the three (3) Lineage Societies sponsored by the Ohio Genealogical Society (OGS) that honor those members who can prove direct descent from ancestors that were early pioneers and Civil War veterans who resided in Ohio prior to 1821 for FFO, between 1821 and 1860 for SBO and those who fought in the Civil War (SCWFO).
The lineage has to be documented and verified for each generation of ancestry from the Ohio Genealogical Society member to the ancestor who qualifies in each category.
